Jamie and Alan

Location: Ruby Hills Winery, Livermore, California

This last weekend was a very memorable one.  I had the pleasure of working with the photographer that I hired to do my own wedding.  I look forward to working alongside Junshien and Carol in the future.
Jamie and Alan were naturals in front of the camera.  I had a great time working with them.  Especially the groomsman who are hilarious beyond belief.
The reception was a blast.  Open bar (no alcohol for me of course. but I did enjoy some Pom juice), Candy gift bag bar, Photo-booth (always a great addition), frozen yogurt and toppings, hors d'oeuvres... I got some great shots of all of these reception extras.
Joel Adair was great as a 2nd shooter.  I'm going to tap into more of his editing skills and abilities.
One more wedding to go this month and I get a little break =).
Equipment list: Canon 7D, Canon XL2, Cinevate Atlas 10 Slider

Pedro and Esmeralda

This last week I got to do another Spanish speaking wedding.  It was great!  The Oakland Snow Park setup was excellent.  The Bay view was a perfect backdrop for the outdoor wedding.

I was really excited because I got to finally use my new 50mm F1.2L USM II canon lens and Cinevate Slider.  The combo was amazing!  I had a little bit of a challange with the Sun being directly behind the Bride and Groom, but I checked my footage and it looks like it came out fine.

One cool thing was the live band.  "Justo a Tiempo" or "Just in time" in English.  I was amazed at the quality of their music.  I was told later that they are a professional band - now it makes sense.

I tried out the low light features of my Canon 7D and 50mm F1.2L USM II lens combo and was able to see video beyond what I was able to perceive with my bare eyes.  So I'm very excited and happy to have this new lens in my arsenal.

The video is great too.  Crisp image of my subject with the nice soft edges around.  I hope to have a Highlights video posted soon.

You have to build a website for your business!

My sister keeps telling me I need to build a website for my business... But I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with that... How do I build one. I don't even know what that means?

Derrick says - I can't do it, why don't you ask Josephine?

Josephine says - Here are 10 websites to help build one! (Thanks Josephine!)

Well, this is the first website.  Leave comments and tell me what to add to this site.

Thanks!
